Shoe Fetish?

A peak into Khloe Kardashian's closet. No big deal. 

Just a gazillion shoes that I'm currently drooling over. 

I myself have a shoe fetish, my roommate can account for it, but I tend to wear the same pair of shoes over and over again until not even super glue can hold them together. Where as Khloe Kardashian's collection probably have been wore once each- not saying I'm not jealous. 

I think my one problem with this many shoes is making the decision of which one to wear that day. Oh, the problems in life. 

I also thought this dress was gorgeous, also Khloe's.

Oh happy day

Today is not one of my best days. I'm a little down. A little blue.

So that's when I turn to my pictures I took in San Francisco, specifically these sunflowers. They are my favorite. I know they are not the most exotic, colorful or sweetest smell, but they can do one thing that most others can't.

They grow.

Even in the most extreme weather, they'll shoot up like weeds. That's why they're beautiful to me. No matter what you throw at them, they'll continue to grow.

I'm hoping that my letters from Italy will look like this.


Now, all I need is a pen pal.

Add some sunshine to your day...

Sunflowers.

So happy. So bright. So friendly. 

That's why they are my favorite. If I could have a fresh bouquet of these in my room every day then no problem could touch me. The bundle would be a happy "Welcome home!" as I open my door from a long day. I would smile, sit down and bask in their sunshine.

Stressing

I've got a lot on my mind right now, and I am in the process of currently freaking out. I have a huge feature story for my Journalism class that is due on Thursday and have I started it... of course not. Why am I not surprised. Procrastination is my worst nightmare! I always do it!

So this feature story is about Recycling and Sustainability on the UGA campus. Got any ideas? Any good angles? 'Cause I sure need them.

However, during my brief research on the internet that I've been doing for the past ten minutes I've stumbled upon this interesting little fact...

UGA recycles about 1,000 tons per year in material that could be going to the local landfill. Oh, and that local landfill, the one in Athens, GA... it will reach full capacity in five years at the average rate that it is currently be filled.

Great.
